We do our best to source our products, locally where possible, made by small producers, who have sourced their raw materials with care or artisans who make their products with love.
We sell lots of delicious chocolate, well known Dutch brands and fine flavoured bars made by The Netherlands’ most talented chocolate makers. We also sell a selection of interesting cacao products, edible and other, spicy cacao relish, body care made with cacao butter, pretty jewellery and candles using cacao pods as inspiration. Kinito van dunem
Kinito runs Smells like chocolate together with Ingmar. In April 2018, they pooled their resources and started the store. The beauty of the area, their fascination for cacao and chocolate and the kind folk they work with keeps them inspired.
Kinito is also a tourist guide, he speaks a whole list of languages and is a tourist’s best fiend.
INGMAR NIEZEN
Ingmar is a chocolate geek who can’t resist whipping up a cake, a drink, a soup, where cacao and the season’s freshest ingredients find thier way into her recipes. She is also a food stylist and recipe writer.
